Terms & Conditions
These Terms explain the basic rules for using Waqt. They are written in plain language and should be reviewed with a lawyer before launch.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Waqt, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Waqt
Waqt is a Muslim prayer protection app. It may provide prayer times, reminders, selected app blocking during prayer windows, prayer confirmation, Qibla assistance, streak and history tracking, qada tracking, subscriptions, and family accountability features.
3. Religious and prayer-time disclaimer
Prayer times are calculated based on the user's selected method, location, device settings, and available data. Users should verify prayer times, Qibla direction, and religious settings when accuracy is important.
Waqt supports a prayer routine, but it does not replace personal religious judgment, local mosque guidance, scholarly advice, or individual responsibility.
4. User responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Choose prayer settings, locations, and calculation methods carefully.
- Review reminders, block durations, and protected apps regularly.
- Use family mode transparently, lawfully, and with proper authority.
- Keep your device permissions and operating system settings current.
5. Family mode terms
Family organisers may manage child blocking settings only where they have appropriate consent, guardianship, or legal authority. Child members should be shown what is shared before they join.
Adult members remain self-managed. Waqt is not designed for hidden surveillance or covert monitoring.
6. App blocking limitations
App blocking depends on platform permissions, operating system behaviour, battery settings, device configuration, manufacturer restrictions, and user-granted access.
Waqt cannot guarantee uninterrupted blocking or reminders on every device, in every region, or after every operating system update.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Purchases, trials, renewals, cancellations, billing, and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where the purchase was made.
Store policies and the user's store account settings control renewal, cancellation, refund eligibility, and payment methods.
8. Acceptable use
Users may not misuse Waqt, interfere with its services, attempt to access accounts or data without permission, reverse engineer protected parts of the app, or use family mode for unlawful or hidden monitoring.
9. Privacy
Waqt's privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Account termination
Waqt may suspend or terminate access if an account is used in a way that violates these Terms, harms the service, creates security risk, or is unlawful. Users may request account deletion at any time.
11. Disclaimers
Waqt is provided as a support tool. It is not guaranteed to be error free, uninterrupted, or available on every device or platform feature. Prayer-time calculations, reminders, app blocking, and Qibla assistance may require user verification.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Waqt and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app. This section should be reviewed with a lawyer before launch.
13. Changes to terms
Waqt may update these Terms as the app changes. The updated page should show a new last updated date. Continued use of Waqt after changes means the user accepts the updated Terms.
14. Contact
