App blocking not starting
Check that the prayer window is enabled, the correct apps are selected, the block duration is active, and the device has the permissions Waqt needs. Battery saver, focus modes, manufacturer restrictions, or OS updates can affect blocking behaviour.

Android permissions
Android devices may require notifications, Accessibility, overlay/draw over apps, exact alarms, and battery settings for reliable prayer reminders and app blocking.
Waqt uses Accessibility only to detect selected blocked apps during active prayer windows. It is not used to read messages, passwords, typed text, or screen content.
iOS Screen Time permissions
iOS app selection and shields may require Screen Time, FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings permission flows. If shields are not applying, review the selected apps, prayer windows, and device permission state.
Family mode help
Family Mode is designed for transparent accountability. Children should see what is shared before joining. Organisers can manage child blocking settings where they have consent or authority, while adult members remain self-managed.
Subscription help
Trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Check the subscriptions area in your store account for cancellation or billing options.
Account deletion
